The leading Greeting Card Manufacturers release their second Alliance Corporate Social Responsibility report

Loxleys and The Sherwood Group have worked together to tackle their environmental impact and are pleased to publish, for the second year in a row, their 2019 Alliance Corporate Social Responsibility report.

The two leading greeting card manufacturers, who have recently launched a range of environmental solutions including; home compostable and biodegradable cello-bags, a range of biodegradable glitters and an alternative to plastic gems, continue to highlight the incremental changes made throughout both businesses, in order to reduce the environmental impact of a greeting card.

The report illustrates their continued commitment to reducing their environmental impact, charitable work and details of improvements made throughout the past year. This year’s achievements included environmental alternatives for the greeting card industry, the application of Puracoat in the packaging industry and Jeremy Bacon’s charity cycle ride in honour of Lynn Tait and the Action Medical Research group. As well as the debut of Loxleys Eco-Retas invite, designed from post-consumer coffee cup waste.

Alongside this, achieving another year of 0% waste to landfill for The Sherwood Group and a 21.4% reduction in IPA solvent usage at Loxleys.
